What it is

A watermark removal tool that runs entirely inside your browser. You open an image or a video, the work happens on your own machine, and nothing is uploaded to anyone.

Why local

Every comparable tool asks you to upload. That means trusting a stranger's server with a file you probably did not want to publish — client drafts, family photographs, product shots before launch. Doing the work in the page removes the need for that trust entirely, and the site is configured so your browser blocks the alternative rather than asking you to take our word for it.

The cost is speed: your laptop is slower than a datacentre, and video takes minutes rather than seconds. We think that is the right trade.

How it works

Detection finds the mark and estimates how much of each pixel belongs to it. Repair rebuilds what was underneath from the surrounding image, using the gradients of nearby texture rather than a simple blur, so the result carries real detail instead of a smudge. Where the automatic pass gets it wrong, the patch tool lets you pick the replacement yourself — which on a structured background is not a fallback but the better method, because choosing the right donor is a judgement only a person looking at the picture can make.

Free, funded by ads

There is no account, no upload limit and no paid tier. The site is supported by advertising, which is why you will see ads on these pages. It is not supported by selling data about you — we do not receive your files and hold no account for you.

Honesty about limits

Removal reconstructs information that was destroyed. Sometimes that is invisible, sometimes it is not, and we would rather say which is which than oversell it. What it cannot do is a page on this site for that reason.
